Lap swimming is fantastic for your all-round health and fitness. This low-impact activity uses all of your muscle groups, so it's great for building strength and endurance while improving your coordination, flexibility and balance. Many people also find the repetitive nature of lap swimming to be incredibly relaxing – simply focus on your swimming strokes and let your stresses float away!
