Host a gymnastics party for your child's next birthday party at Boroondara!

Our parties are the perfect way to celebrate your child’s next milestone! We'll organise everything – the entertainment, catering and clean-up – so you can just sit back and enjoy the day.
Our venue is fully equipped with sprung floor, trampolines, balance beams, swinging ropes, rings, bars and much more! Our experienced party leaders entertain your guests with fun and exciting group games, supervised free play and structured gymnastics activities.

Parties include one hour of activities led by qualified instructors, followed by 30 minutes to celebrate in the party room.

Ages: school age (five years old – 12 years old).

Duration: 1.5 hours.

Number of children: Minimum of 15 children.

Getting started

  1. Select the ‘book now’ button below and complete the booking form. This includes your menu selection and a non-refundable $100 deposit.
  2. We will contact you in the week leading up to your party to finalise birthday party details and take full payment.
  3. Please read our birthday party terms and conditions prior to booking your party.

Party times are limited so be sure to hurry and book to secure your preferred date and time.

 

Birthday party terms and conditions

By payment of the birthday party deposit the parent/guardian acknowledges and agrees to the following terms and conditions:

  • Terms and conditions for safe entry (COVID)

    The patron is responsible for adhering to social distancing, health and hygiene guidelines:

    • always keep a 1.5 metre distance between yourself and others
    • adhere to assigned entry and exit points
    • stay home, do not attend your booked session and seek testing if you have cold or flu symptoms
    • wash your hands often and cover coughs and sneezes.
  • Party policies
    • Gymnastics birthday parties are suitable for children five years and over.
    • There is a minimum of 15 party guests per birthday party. Where 15 guests are not present, the responsible party is required to pay the minimum cost.
    • All guests who participate in the birthday party (including siblings) will be included in the cost.
    • Should you be unable to make your confirmed birthday party date/time, a minimum of one months’ notice is required to move your booking to an alternative date or time.
    • Birthday parties are 1.5 hours in duration. Alterations to the set time slots are not possible.
    • Access to the birthday party facilities is not possible before or after your booking time.
    • External food is not permitted, with the exception of birthday cakes. Cakes cannot be stored at the Boroondara Sports Complex prior to or following the booking.
    • If your guest numbers change, notice must be given by 12.00pm Wednesday prior to the booked party date. If a lesser number of children attend on the day, the outstanding amount based on confirmed numbers will remain payable.
    • The minimum age for a birthday party is five years old.
    • You must notify staff of any special activity needs for any participant(s) upon booking.
    • You must notify staff of any medical needs for any participant/s upon booking.
    • No alcohol is permitted on site.
  • Bookings, confirmation and payment
    • A non-refundable deposit of $100.00 dollars is to be paid to secure the date and time of the party. This amount is taken off the total bill.
    • The cost per child is $32.80 with a minimum of 15 children per party.
    • All bookings must be paid in full by 12.00pm Wednesday prior to the booked party date, with final confirmation of numbers and menu selection. No changes will be accepted after this time.
    • Parties cancelled 24 hours prior to the party will incur a 50% cancellation fee of the total party booking.
    • There is no refund for guests who do not attend once final confirmed attendance numbers have been submitted and paid for.

    Sessions are available at the following times:

    • Saturday 2:30pm – 4:00pm
    • Saturday 4:30pm – 6:00pm
    • Sunday 11:30am – 1:00pm
    • Sunday 1:30pm – 3:00pm
    • Sunday 3:30pm – 5:00pm
  • Menu

    There are three menu options available:

    1. Healthy pack

    • Wholemeal sandwiches:
      • ham and cheese
      • vegemite and cheese
    • Mini wholemeal pitta pockets
      • ham and cheese
      • cheese and tomato
    • Watermelon platter
    • Carrot and celery platter
    • Water and cordial (sugar-free)

    2. Classic pack

    • Party pies
    • Sausage rolls
    • Cocktail frankfurts
    • Small serve of hot chips
    • Fairy bread
    • Water and cordial (sugar-free)

    3. Vegetarian pack

    • Vegetarian dumplings
    • Vegetarian spring rolls
    • Vegetarian dim sims
    • Small serve of hot chips
    • Fairy bread
    • Water and cordial (sugar-free)
  • Medical conditions
    • Please advise your party host of any medical conditions for the safety of the guests and staff.
    • The entire centre is a smoke free zone.
  • Food information
    • No food or beverage displaying branding or logos from fast food and other catering outlets will be permitted into the facility.
    • No additional food or drink brought into the centre is to be consumed during the party.
    • Metal utensils, glassware, crockery and alcohol are not permitted in the centre.
    • The BSC café is available for purchasing of food and drinks.
    • We are a nut-friendly zone – we cannot guarantee a nut-free zone.
    • Special dietary requirements must be arranged and finalised before the party – at the time of booking confirmation. An extra cost will apply, discussed at the time of the customer’s confirmation. Not all requirements may be able to be met, in particular share platters. No dietary requirements can be changed on the day.
  • Camera and video policy
    • It is illegal to broadcast or publish images without consent. You must have consent from all relevant individuals to take photos or videos.
    • There is NO use of video cameras in the centre.
    • Under NO circumstances are cameras to be used in changing room areas.
